Homogeneous zones of vegetation index for characterizing variability and site-specific management in vineyards

چکیده

Characterization of the spatial variability vegetative vigor in vineyards can help improve performance site-specific management practices, or with different rates. using canopy proximal sensing has been a widely disseminated technique; however, southeastern Brazil, where utilization annual double pruning results winter harvest, knowledge role improving vineyard not yet applied. This study aimed to determine if post-veraison mapping normalized difference vegetation index could be used assess grapevine vigor, water status, physiology, yield and berry quality attributes at harvest an irrigated Brazil. was measured active sensor, distribution maps over two growing seasons vineyard, managed on basis, were generated. Attributes physiological technological maturation, leaf potential, gas exchange, production, fresh weight calculated. These allowed for determination productive potential vineyard; high levels rainfall during maturation period may reduce these determining parameters.

Spatial variability of some soil properties for site specific farming in northern Iran

Evaluating agricultural land management practices requires knowledge of soil spatial variability and understanding their relationships. Spatial distributions for fourteen soil physical and chemical properties were examined in a wheat field in Sorkhankalateh district, in Golestan province, Iran. 101 soil samples at the distances of 5m, 10m and 20m as nested grid were collected at the depth of 0-...

Delineation and Analysis of Site-specific Management Zones

Site-specific management requires the development of agronomic strategies for sub-field management zones that are subject to a unique combination of potential yield-limiting factors. Creation of unique management areas has focused mainly on soil type surveys, yield mapping, and soil fertility management based on grid soil sampling. This paper discusses the use of the fuzzy k-means unsupervised ...

Remote detection and distinction of ants using nest-site specific LISS-derived Normalised Difference Vegetation Index

This study in Western Ghats, India, investigates the relation between nesting sites of ants and a single remotely sensed variable: the Normalised Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). We carried out sampling in 60 plots each measuring 30 x 30 m and recorded nest sites of 13 ant species. We found that NDVI values at the nesting sites varied considerably between individual species and also between ...

Characterizing Reservation Management for Media Gateway Controller (Performance and Reliability)

In this paper, analysis and simulation of Media Gateway Controller (MEGACO) based COPS (Common Open Policy Server) which is a protocol defined in IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) to transport configuration requests and deliver the policies is presented. For this scenario, three queuing models include M/M/1, M/M/c and M/D/c were applied . Then, some of the key performance benchmarks look l...
